Este proyecto es financiado y llevado a cabo gracias a la Fundación Casa Hogar Alemania, donde un grupo de voluntarios de distintas disciplinas se han unido para trabajar en pro de la infancia y la mujer del Chocó, una región colombiana históricamente olvidada y excluida. La iniciativa de crear una Casa Hogar surge de la necesidad de ofrecer protección a niñas de origen indígena y afro, no solo para que se resguarden de los peligros de la zona, sino para que tengan acceso a formación de alta calidad. Desde sus inicios, la propuesta arquitectónica y de conjunto ha buscado involucrar a la comunidad en la definición de las directrices ideales, con el objetivo de desarrollar un proyecto fiel y coherente con las diversas formas de pensamiento y hábitat de las niñas que morarán en él.
This project is financed and carried out by the Casa Hogar Alemania foundation, where a group of volunteers from various disciplines come together to work for the children and women of Chocó, a historically forgotten and excluded region in Colombia. The idea of creating a Casa Hogar arose from the need to provide protection to girls of indigenous and Afro origins, where they can not only protect themselves from the dangers of the area, but also receive the best possible education. The architectural proposal for this project has sought to engage directly with the community in the development of ideal guidelines, in order to develop a faithful and coherent project that reflects the diverse ways of thinking and living of the girls who will reside in it.
